Golden Goose welcomes Bizzarri to the board at a time of strong momentum

According to Silvio Campara, CEO of Golden Goose Group, Bizzarri’s “world-class expertise and visionary approach to reinventing luxury are unprecedented. This announcement comes at a time of strong momentum for the group, which is taking steps towards an initial public offering amid continued sales growth.

In the first quarter of 2024, Golden Goose reported a revenue of 148 million euros, an increase of 11%, or 12% at constant exchange rates, over the same period of last year.  In this period, sales in the direct-to-consumer channel grew by 18%, or 20% at constant exchange rates, as compared to the first quarter of 2023, driven by continued strong performance in Europe, the Middle East and Africa and the Americas.

Last year, the Italy-based company opened 21 stores, bringing its total global store network to 191, and ended the year with sales of 587 million euros, up by 18% from 500.9 million euros in the previous year.
